Mahesh Sharma Kommu - Asia Project Director
Mahesh has a background in project management, fundraising and events organisation. He is a founder of Down2Earth, and manages several projects in India to facilitate community-based research into sustainable solutions to issues of poverty, poor sanitation and denial of basic rights, as well as organising and stage managing events working with and showing the innate talent and potential of children that have experienced disadvantaged circumstances.

Kate Bevan - Project Developer & Volunteer Coordinator (& Trustee)
Kate has a background in fundraising, volunteer and project management and is a founder of Down2Earth. She is currently managing the Walk in Space project in Crofton Park, a youth led not for profit organisation supported by the Crofton Park Assembly, Lewisham Youth Services, JUMP, St Hilda’s and the Pen.

Anna Karlsson - Project Developer & Communications Manager (& Trustee)
Anna has a background in conservation and is a founder of Down2Earth. She has worked within the not for profit sector as a researcher and setting up and managing offices for global rainforest conservation and development charities for the past 6 years, as well as working for an international company creating more sustainable cotton supply chains as their Sustainable Development Manager.

Mat Barnett - Trustee
Mat has a background in fundraising, non profit management and youth development project management. He is currently working for a Youth Development charity, providing a balanced programme of activities that develops the whole person – mind, body and soul – in an environment of social interaction and teamworking.
Sam Stewart - Trustee
Sam has a background in conservation and is currently working as a marine expert for an Executive Non-departmental Public Body responsible to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Their purpose is to protect and improve England’s natural environment and encourage people to enjoy and get involved in their surroundings.
