- £4 buys a month long bus pass for 1 street educator to conduct outreach work on and around the railway platforms of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, identifying and counselling children that have joined the streets
- £5 buys 30 kg of upma, which is breakfast food for 30 children for 1 week
- £11 pays for toiletries such as soap, hair oil, clothes and toothpaste for 30 children for 1 week
- £9.40 pays for a month's stationary needs
- £15 pays for a cooking gas cylinder which will last 1 month
- £18 will sponsor a Peer Educator's salary for a month
- £28 will buy 200 kg of rice, enough to feed 30 children for 1 month
- £35 pays for medicine and checkups for 30 children in a month
- £38 pays for an average of 30 children in a month to be brought from the streets into the shelter (travel money as the local transport authorities will not waiver street children's fares)
- £40 pays the rent and bills (telephone & electricity) for the Aashray shelter for 1 month
- £50 buys groceries such as tomatoes, onions, dundakai, bendakai, wonkai, soorakai, spices, oil, salt etc for one month
- £118 pays expenses for 30 children to be directly home placed (this is done in the presence of an Aashray staff member who will travel with the child to personally counsel the family before handing the child over with the help of local authorities)
- £230 covers the entire organization's staff salaries for one month
