26 January 2008 - SOUTHGATE TOWN MARKET The aim of this market organised by Green Pea is to support local artists, grassroots community organisations and other creative traders, while at the same time building for a regular street market. Green Pea is looking for artists, musicians and stallholders.

Green Pea organised a Christmas market four Mondays in December 2007 in Southgate where Down2Earth participated. Green Pea is aiming for a regular, market with performance art. They are applying for a licence to hold a Sunday market near to Southgate tube station: a market for local and international art, craft and food, with activities for the kids and room for other social, environmental and educational enterprise.

Green Pea is looking for artists, craftspeople, musicians and other potential stallholders, sponsors or enterprising individuals to help make this market happen. Anyone who wants to get involved can contact Down2Earth.
