Yet another D2E benefit event went off with a splash on the 9th May in the Chapel Project in Nunhead, and again time to roll out BIG thank yous…

The Chapel crew, thank you for opening up your venue once again for a fantastic day and night of fun and entertainment.

Our amazing performers, thank you Daisy Kelly-Granger and Luke for performing on such short notice, the brilliant Janna Goodwille and Alex Foster from Tangent Eye, the intense performance from Mirna Ray, crowd pleaser Radio Revolucion and an amazing acoustic performance by Speakers Corner Quartet.

Extra thank yous to Anaspitos, a brilliant art/clown performer who charmed the audience, and Without Paper Work for their energising dance/theatre performance, as well as the brilliant music from DJs Suniti and Colin, plus the Quack on Visuals! Thank you to Tom for entertaining the little ones with yoga, and Gogi and Khrishma for a brilliant poi show in the garden. And of course thank you all volunteers and helpers.

All donations went directly to Bagath Singh Nagar School, a desperately underfunded government school in which the majority of the building cannot currently be used out of danger of roof collapse, http://www.down2earthdown2 us.org/news/bagath_singh_n agar_school.html.
